My cutie-patootie

Here are just some random pictures of Sarah. She is growing and changing so fast. I love watching her when she doesn't know anyone is watching. She has conversations on the "shone," cooks at her little stove (don't know where she learned that!), and takes care of her babies. She is in a stage right now where she kisses and hugs inanimate objects all the time. A couple of days ago, she wanted me to kiss her hand better. After I kissed it, she sticks out the other one and, I thought she was saying "hum on." Really, she's saying "other one." She keeps going back and forth making me kiss both sides better. She's pretty funny. She loves to play with the dogs and especially likes to feed them. I have to put the lid on the food box to keep her out of it because she will just give them handfuls over and over.

Sarah's cousins have pushed her around in laundry baskets and she thinks it's great. Well, our laundry baskets are full of clothes so she decided to make due with what she had. This is really a little "shopping basket" I got her to keep her play food in. It's fine with her that she doesn't fit.

After a long morning of watching mom work and helping me pick up pine cones, she'd had enough. Of course, I was trying to keep her awake until she went to nama's so she would sleep there. The best laid plans...

This picture cracked me up. I kept hearing her saying "hello" but knew there wasn't anybody around. I was raking up pine needles and when I turned and saw her talking into the rain gutter, I couldn't resist a picture. It's funny to watch her go from the technology of playing with the "puter," the "shones," the "T.B.s" and such to the good old fashioned rain gutter.

Sally got put in the toybox one day on a super quick pick up and I forgot I had put her in there. Well, Sarah discovered her the other day and they have been almost unseparable. She sits with her on the toilet, she sleeps next to her, rides in the car with her, and sits at the table with her. I even have to take my turn "babysitting" and "hugging" her. Yesterday she was trying to get in to her booster seat but couldn't figure out how to get in since she had already put Sally in. So, she tried climbing up with Sally in hand; that didn't work either. Finally, she throws her to me so she could climb up then wanted her right back.

Before bed, I could hear her reading a book to Sally and pointing at the pictures. When she got in bed and I turned the news on, she would mumble something to Sally, then point at the T.V. and say "yook." I laugh to see how she reinacts what people do with her. Hopefully, she'll soon learn how to wrap her in the blanket by herself.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE THIS GIRL!

I laughed out loud at the "don't know where she learned that" line.

Cute pictures and funny stories. How could you not love that girl?

Reading to Sally...sounds to me like Sarah is following in her mother's footsteps and will be a great teacher someday. :)
