Fight for the girls

Yesterday, Sarah and I went and joined the Breast Cancer walk in Salt Lake. Lucy and George Smith have always been like grandparents to me. George passed away some time ago and Lucy is a breast cancer survivor (of a few years). Her 90th birthday was yesterday which coincided with the Breast Cancer awareness walk. It was 10K which I wasn't really prepared for, but when you're just walking slowly, it wasn't hard. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Sarah bundled up before the walk. It was actually pretty chilly.

Lucy was pushed most of the way (I'm sure after many protests from her), but wanted to walk across the finish line. It was pretty cool to see everyone cheering her on and wanting to take her picture.

We had to leave right after the walk because Sarah thought she needed to make an honest woman out of me since I put her iPood shirt on. I should have thought to put her in pink pants!

I want to be as cool as Lucy when I am 90 years old.

And, I love that first picture of Sarah in her cute polka dot jacket.
