Annual Nancy and Sheryl vacation

Every year, Kevin and I get together with some friends who have retired from the Forest Service. Last year, we were going to go to Flagg Ranch, just outside Yellowstone. However, me breaking my wrist the weekend before changed all of that. Thankfully, Flagg Ranch let us switch our reservations to this year without a penalty. Kevin and I had it in our minds that we were supposed to go this weekend but, luckily, Nancy sent an email about how excited she was to see Sarah. Just so happens that our reservations were last weekend, not this one.

We actually didn't even go to Yellowstone; we just relaxed around camp. So, our pictures are limited. We did have a killer rain storm that flooded tents and the roads. We thought it would just blow over, but we weren't so lucky. I was just glad we had a trailer.

It's hard to see, but the road was totally flooded all the way down.

There was a big puddle outside the trailer door, under the picnic table, and in front of Kevin's truck. Even things we put under the trailer for cover got drenched.

We did drive past Jenny Lake on the way home so we could get a better look at the Tetons. They are amazing!

It was a nice break even though I needed a vacation once we got home.
